China and Nigeria would cooperate to build transformer production plants

On November 1-5, our company sent a delegation of three people to visit Nigeria with China Great Wall Industry Corporation and China Railway Construction Corporation to carry out field investigation and project promotion on the construction of transformer plant and national high-voltage experimental station in Nigeria. A few days ago, the delegation had returned home smoothly. During the visit to Nigeria, our company held various talks with the executive chairman of National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure of Nigeria (NASENI), Zhao Linxiang, counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Nigeria, Zhong Xiaohe, head of the Bank of China's Johannesburg Branch in Africa, Mohammed, head of the Department of International Economic Cooperation of the Ministry of Finance of Nigeria, and Ozigi, head of the NASENI Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, and other leaders. They also visited the construction site of the project.

The Nigerian federal government plans to build a transformer plant and a national high-voltage teat station in KogState. The project will help to provide stable power supply for the whole country of Nigeria and make Nigeria one of a few countries with transformer production capacity in the world. After completion, the plant will become the largest transformer manufacturer in Africa. At that time, Nigeria will have its own brand of transformers and have the ability to export transformers below 132kV to other countries in Africa. This project is another African electric industrial park project of our company after the Ethiopian transformer plant project. Huaye's pragmatic work style had been highly praised by Nigerian personnel, and the project was expected to be launched successfully in the near future.
