For present,in the Quzhou section of “West-East Gas Transmission” secondary pipelines,the compressed air units have successfully ignited up by Electrical engine instead of gas thermal engine,and at the same time passed the 72 hours commissioning,which means that it is the first time to ignite up from gas thermal transported to electrical type in the long distance transportation pipeline,and then CCTV have reported all the information.Behind this success, the Converter Transformer researched and manufactured by Liaoning Huaye Group have become the core support in this project.

After the project changed the combustion driven unit to an electric driven unit, the annual natural gas consumption was reduced by about 35 million cubic meters, and the carbon dioxide emissions were reduced by about 76000 tons, laying a solid defense line for the natural gas supply capacity in the Yangtze River Delta region. It is not only a vivid practice of China's "dual carbon" strategy, but also an important achievement of energy equipment upgrading.
